At our Rodney Street Colon Hydrotherapy Clinic, we use the Gravity System of Colon Hydrotherapy. In this system, the fresh warm water from the container flows gently and so the pressure is only very slight.
Colon Hydrotherapy Teacher and Practitioner of 25 years, Roger Groos uses the Gravity System.
The following is quoted with kind permission from Roger Groos' website.
"Roger has been practising Colonic Hydrotherapy for over 25 years, being a founder member of ARCH, and is a senior lecturer in this therapy, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Roger uses both gravity and machine systems for teaching, but prefers to use gravity in his Bridgwater clinic, since he believes it gives better diagnostics and results" www.rogergroos.com
The Colon Hydrotherapy Practitioner conducts an initial consultation prior to booking in clients; asking health related questions to ensure that the client has NO contraindications.
Colonic Hydrotherapy offers relief from a variety of disturbances by cleansing the colon of impacted and putrefactive faecal matter. Constipation, chronic diarrhoea, fatigue, gas, headaches, irritability, skin problems, lethargy and cold hands and feet are among the problems people have found relieved by colon cleansing. Your sense of well-being is often dramatically improved with colon irrigations.
You feel lighter and more energetic. The body can again assimilate food in the colon and better defend itself against disease. Natural peristalsis, tone and regularity are restored and many serious diseases may be averted through this gentle, sterile, scientific technique.
The procedure is painless. The insertion of the speculum is made very carefully and gently and the practitioner ensures that the patient is perfectly relaxed. We are happy to assure you of this and answer any further questions for full clarification at the point of booking an appointment.
This treatment is a safe infusion of purified warm water into the colon under conditions that offer safety, using no chemicals. A disposable speculum is inserted into the rectum (the fresh water feed pipe and waste pipe are both simultaneously attached to the speculum. This simple and ingenious device allows fresh warm purified water into the colon and discharge of waste matter all at the same time. Often the waste is so hard and well lodged in the colon that it may take a series of colonics to sufficiently soften and loosen it. The number of treatments will always vary with the individual and his/her condition. The water helps to soften and detach faecal matter and encrusted deposits, which are piped away with the waste water. All waste (including gases, liquids and solids) goes straight into the sewerage system via a disposable waste pipe, so there is no leakage, smell or exposure.
Treatments cost £40
Ideally we need to be experiencing 2 to 3 bowel movements daily. Anything less than two bowel movements per day is considered to be a state of constipation. An ideal movement should pass without strain and should ideally float and be of good bulk. Herbal capsules that help to increase bowel movements and act as a healing tonic are available from here.
The above mentioned preparation (and use of herbal bowel formula capsules if required) will help to soften stuck matter on the inside of the colon and assist bowel movements and enhance treatments. The average person has between 1kg and 3kg (about 2 ½ to 6 ½ lbs) of unwanted waste matter stuck to the inner wall of the colon, which sits there putrefying, creating a source of toxicity, a breeding ground for pathogens and creating a welcome home for parasites.
